“One of the most heartbreaking moments I experienced in Turkey
was tonight with this poor dog. He seemed so depressed and showed no
emotion while I approached him. I offered him both dog food and sausages
(which we carry for the feral cats) and he did not have any interest in
neither. We noticed that he is limping very badly and is unable to put
weight on one of his back legs. The local veterinarian has told us that
he would be willing to operate on his leg so we hope that he can have a
happy ending because he deserves so much to know what it’s like to be
loved and cared for.
